Learn more or share your own research happening at Yale at our RESEARCH CHATS

Every year, WISAY organizes "Research Chats", an event for Yale undergraduates in STEM to expose them to career paths and research in the sciences to take place in late February/early March. This is an awesome opportunity for you to showcase your work!

Attend our annual NON-ACADEMIC CAREER PANEL

Unsure of what to do after graduation? Want to know more about your options for careers after a science degree? Women and Gender Minorities in Science At Yale (WISAY) know that planning your career path after grad school is a daunting task, so we've solicited the help of successful people who have been where you are! Our panelists have completed various science-related degrees at different stages in their careers with diverse paths. You'll learn about potential careers and have your questions answered! We host this every summer.  See our 2022 Panel below:

Share a meal with our NEIGHBORHOOD POTLUCKS

The WISAY neighborhood potlucks are a great way to meet fellow WISAY members, hang out with your mentor/mentee, make friends outside of your department, and get a wonderful home-cooked meal!

Sign up to attend or host a dinner on a certain date, and then WISAY will assign you to a group of about 4-6 people to have dinner together at the home of a student or postdoc. Everyone brings a dish to share with a group of new and interesting people! We highly encourage you to sign up for a dinner with your mentor or mentee. If you don't have one or if they can't come, that's fine - don't miss out on the opportunity to meet other awesome scientists!
